Your birth data
The historical time zone is set automatically based on the place.
Set the time zone manually instead
Tip: enter your local birth time. The historical UTC offset, including any daylight saving time in effect back then, is calculated from your birthplace.
Your Human Design chart, calculated for free
To create your bodygraph you need three details: your date of birth, your time of birth and your place of birth. From these, the calculator works out where the Sun, Moon and planets stood at the moment you were born, and a second time for the moment the Sun stood about 88 degrees before its birth position. That is roughly three months before your birth. Together they form the two sides of your chart: the black activations of your Personality, which you can consciously access, and the red ones of your Design, which works more unconsciously within you.
What you get
You see your complete bodygraph with all nine centers, channels and gates, along with the elements every reading starts with: your Type and Strategy, your inner Authority, your Profile, your Definition and your Incarnation Cross. If Human Design is new to you, “Read your chart in 5 steps” walks you through the essentials. If you already know your way around, “Your design in detail” has everything down to the Variables, and one click shows the same activations as a Rave Mandala.
How accurate is the calculation?
The planetary positions come from the ephemerides of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (DE440s) and cover births from 1850 to 2150. Everything is calculated right in your browser. Your chart is most accurate with the time from your birth certificate or birth register, because just a few minutes can decide a line or even a gate.
What if I don’t know my birth time?
Then your chart isn’t fully clear, mainly because the Moon changes gates several times over the course of a day. Still, a lot stays the same all day long. The Birth Time Finder shows you what is certain on your birthday and where things change.
Frequently asked questions
Is the calculator really free?
Yes, with no sign-up and no hidden costs. You can let this browser remember your chart so you don’t have to enter it again on your next visit.
What’s the difference between a bodygraph and a chart?
They mean the same thing. The bodygraph is the graphic with the nine centers that shows your Human Design chart. What its shapes, lines and colors mean is explained in the article The Bodygraph in Human Design.
Can I look at two people’s charts together?
Yes. The connection calculator lays two charts over each other, and the family calculator shows how you work together as a family. You’ll find every tool in the overview of all Human Design calculators.
And what do I do with my chart now?
Your chart shows the most when you try it out in everyday life, starting with your Strategy and Authority. If you’d like support along the way, I’ll translate it into concrete insights for your life in the free Intro Reading.
